R O C K S (Randomly Occuring Concoctions Killing Ships)

THE SITUATION:
You are flying through space in your trusty old battle cruiser. While
minding your own business and not looking like a war ship at all, you
encounter a humongous purple thing surrounded by rocks and stupid looking
flying saucers. You determine that the saucers don't have a chance in
hell at hitting you and that a few measly rocks can't possibly stand in your
way. After all, something that odd should be put out of your missery. You
fire up your best fighters and begin a mission of destruction...
HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS:
80386 microprocessor (33Mhz or better recommended)
80286 microprocessor (use ROCKS286.EXE)
VGA monitor
enhanced keyboard
KEYS:
right CTRL rotate right
right ALT rotate left
left CTRL fire
left ALT thrust
q quit
a abort/another play
CAPS lock must be off.
SCORING:
large rock 100
medium rock 150
small rock 250
large saucer 250
small saucer 500
The game starts with 10 ships and 3 large rocks. A new level starts with 1
additional large rock. An additional ship is awarded every 10000 points.
The level ends when all rocks are destroyed and player flies off screen.
